Garden Structures & Timber Framing

It’s often said that landscapes shape us; help us develop who we are. Some of the fondest memories people have are of beautiful places; places where they were most at peace and free from stress. Gardens provide a desperately needed escape from the stressors of everyday life. The team at The Oakwright can help you develop that dream sanctuary and carry out everything from plant selection to installation. We incorporate traditional, timber structures into all our garden projects to provide a sense of grounding and security, while also being aesthetically pleasing.

Our timber framed structures are truly one of a kind. We hand cut every brace and marry the timbers using a method of joinery called plumb bob scribing. Using a plumb bob allows us to incorporate natural curves into our frames, which in turn gives us the ability to utilize more of the tree. The end result is a timber frame that is perfectly imperfect.
